We are passionate about our flowers and all things Christmas! As a family run business, we take pride in providing exceptional service and products. Our long-standing customer relationships are at the heart of everything we do, and we never forget our customers came to us by choice. As leaders in our industry, we are continually innovating and evolving to deliver the best customer experience time and time again.

 

Liam has grown up with Floralsilk, joining the company at the tender age of 21. He is passionate about our products, our people and our customers, and there is very little he doesn’t know about artificial flowers and plants! When Liam isn’t in the office, he can be found behind the wheel of his Audi, supporting his children in their sporting endeavours, or with a beer in his hand at his local village pub.

Liam O'Flaherty – Managing Director

Steph worked as a Retail Buyer and a Management Consultant before joining Floralsilk in 2008.  Steph wears lots of hats - she heads up Marketing, Finance and HR, works alongside several of the national accounts on product development and also supports her husband, Liam, in running the business. When she’s not at work, Steph loves spending time with her and Liam’s two children.

Stephanie O’Flaherty – HR, Finance & Marketing Director

Darren is the Christmas and Purchasing Director and joined Floralsilk in 2009. He spends much of his time creating and developing the extensive Christmas ranges, working closely with factories in China and Hong Kong. In his spare time, he is an enthusiastic cook specialising in Thai cuisine. His pride and joy is his MG ZT which is quite striking with its iridescent paint! He is married to Jo and they have two children, Charlotte and Alex.

Darren Broxup – Director of Purchasing & Christmas

Jo is a Chartered Accountant and joined Floralsilk in January 2010. She is Finance Manager and oversees the whole finance function from purchase invoice processing, running the payroll to preparing management accounts. In her spare time she enjoys the country lifestyle. Making homemade cider and apple juice is a family affair involving husband Darren and both of their children!

Jo Broxup – Finance Manager

Cheryl is American, and since arriving in the UK in 1988, has worked in sales, marketing and customer services in a variety of industries. She enjoys helping customers to find the perfect product, ensuring that the best level of service is provided at all times. Outside of work, Cheryl enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, yoga, cycling and watercolour painting.

Cheryl Harris – Sales & Customer Service

Lynne joined Floralsilk in June 2016, having previously worked in Customer Services and Sales. She has worked in the artificial flower and homewares industry for ten years and enjoys working with the product, building relationships with customers and providing the best level of service. Outside of work she enjoys running, yoga, going to the gym, spending time with her family, and the odd glass of wine!

Lynne Gladdy – Sales & Customer Service

Kay joined Floralsilk in 2006 after a varied career in retail, purchasing, childcare and education. Currently Kay takes care of the day to day administration for the onsite warehouse and assists the accounts department with customer credit control. When not in the office, Kay can be found surrounded by either DIY tools or materials for one craft or another!

Before joining the company in January 2014, Emma worked in Financial Services before moving into the Learning & Development industry. Emma’s responsibilities at Floralsilk include project work, facilities management, product development, and marketing. Outside of work, Emma enjoys open water swimming, jet skiing, and off road biking, often with a geocache or two thrown in for good measure.

After many years in the insurance industry, Amanda finally found her "perfect job" as Floralsilk's South West Account Manager. Amanda says, "I really enjoy my job, it's a pleasure seeing my customers and being able to sell such a beautiful product." When Amanda's not working, she is being Mum to Freya and George.

Amanda Nethercote – Account Manager, South West

Clive has been in sales for most of his working life, and has more than 30 years’ experience of selling Christmas decorations. He joined the Floralsilk team in 2010, bringing a loyal client base with him. He particularly enjoys working with Liam, Darren and the sales team. When not at work, he enjoys the outdoor life and long walks with his wife and their dog Winston - as long as there is a pub at the end of the walk!

Clive Cocks – Account Manager, Northern England

After graduating university, Helen worked in tourist retail, before becoming a Gift Department Head, and then Duty Manager in a garden centre. As an Account Manager, Helen enjoys meeting customers and learning how to tailor the product to their businesses. In her spare time, she likes eating cake, watching reality television, feeding her makeup addiction, hanging out with her cat, and watching old films from the 40s and 50s.

Helen Doran – Account Manager, South East

Sheila started her career in advertising and the FMCG industry. She has now worked in the artificial flower and Christmas market for 23 years, and has extensive knowledge of these products. Highlights of her job include meeting different people and enjoying the beautiful scenery of her sales area. Outside of work, she likes spending time with her son when he is home from university, a good giggle, and pink bubbles!

The Floralsilk warehouse team is headed up by warehouse manager, Sue Collishaw. Our close-knit team works incredibly hard to fulfil customer orders, going the extra mile to provide a highly efficient and professional service. We would be lost without them!
