Our History

From the humble beginnings of a family garage, Floralsilk is now a blooming (!) operation still run by the extended family. We were founded by John O'Flaherty, who is still the Chairman today. His inspiration for the business came from his wife, Gail, who commented several times on the poor quality of artificial flowers available in the UK. John seized this opportunity and hence Floralsilk was born. Since then our passion for artificial flowers has revolutionised the industry, lifting the quality from what it once was to the incredibly realistic, beautifully crafted products found in our range today.

Where to find us

We operate from our sales office & showroom in Reading, Berkshire and our warehouse & production facility in Bourne, Lincolnshire. Our sales office is conveniently located, less than 5 minutes drive from junction 11 on the M4 and Reading is less than half an hour from London Paddington and London Heathrow.
