What better way to bring the Spring season into your home than to team brightly coloured artificial tulips with a pretty yellow buttercup. This flower mix makes us smile just by looking at it.
It's a simple mix of just 4 different stems so is nice and easy to create and would work with lots of different vases, we have used our Ada White Ceramic Urn Vase 26cm. A lot of vases are this sort of height and will suit our faux parrot tulip stems.
With this arrangement, we suggest you aim to have the Hypericum leaves the tallest in the vase, followed by the Tulip stems at a midway height and then the buttercup stems slightly shorter still. It is important to have some variabilty in heights across the different stem types.
What's great about the tulips is they come with their own foliage which will help support them in the vase, and the relatively tight neck of the vase helps to keep everything in place.
