Product Information
Are your flowers made from silk?
In the past, artificial flowers were finely crafted from silk and were only affordable by those in the upper echelons of society. Today, they have evolved and are made from polyester and other man-made fibres, which make them more durable and vibrant, and much more closely aligned with live blooms and foliage.
How do I look after my artificial flowers?

Are artificial flowers recyclable?
At present, artificial flowers cannot be recycled – though we are regularly exploring options and hope for this to be the case in future. Currently, we recommend storing your artificial flowers for reuse in other arrangements, sharing them with others, or donating them if you no longer have space for them.
Are your artificial flowers suitable for outside?
Most of our faux flowers are designed for indoor use. However, our Outdoor Collection has been specifically treated to be UV-resistant, to prevent fading of the colour in sunlight.
How do I make my artificial flowers look their best when I get them?
You will find there’s very little you need to do in order to make your artificial flowers look their best. On arrival, you may find that flowers can become creased or squashed during transit. In this case, simply gently tease open the flower heads to encourage their natural shape. When arranging stems, the stalk can be easily bent to the needed height or cut with wire cutters. What’s the difference between faux flower bouquets and arrangements?
Our artificial flower bouquets are carefully selected stems brought together by our expert in-house florists, tied, and wrapped. On arrival, the stems can be bent to the length needed to suit your vase, and rearranged as preferred.
Our artificial flower arrangements are a collection of artificial flowers in vases, set with resin. The arrangement of them is crafted on-site, and then set in the base of the vase. For clear vases, this gives the appearance of water. These artificial flowers in vase designs make for perfect gifts, as they will always look perfectly arranged – no further design needed.
How many flowers do I need?
This depends entirely on the look you’re hoping to achieve, the artificial flowers you use, and the vase you want to place them into. As a guide, a standard artificial flower bouquet will be around 9 stems.

Do artificial flowers look real?

Ordering from Floralsilk
Do I need to set up an account to order online?
You can order via a guest account, or by creating an account. By setting up an account, you can benefit from being able to view your order history, wishlists, and manage your addresses.
Can I cancel or amend my order?
Amendments can only be made to orders if the items have not been readied for dispatch. This can vary depending on the delivery you selected. Contact us as soon as possible with your request.
Can I send the item as a gift?
You can add a different delivery address to your own, to send an item directly to the recipient. We don’t include any paperwork in our orders, so you’ll be pleased to know the recipient won’t see any pricing information with their gift. We can also include a handwritten gift note - simply add your instructions to the notes box as part of your checkout, or email us directly.
I’ve received a damaged item, what should I do?
All our products are thoroughly checked before they are sent out. However, if your product has been damaged in transit then please email us at hello@floralsilk.co.uk, sending images of the damaged item.
I’ve received an incorrect item, what should I do?
We always ensure that we hand pick and pack your order really carefully but if you have experienced an error, then please contact us at hello@floralsilk.co.uk
Do you have a shop I can visit?
Floralsilk is available online only at the present time.
What is your refund policy?
We love all our products and we hope you will too. But if for any reason, you're not happy with the item you have chosen, we offer a refund within 14 days of your delivery.
You must contact us by email within this time with details of the return, and once accepted, you must return all goods within 14 days of notifying us. All goods must be received in a resaleable condition with labelling and original packaging intact. You are responsible for return postage costs and suitable carriers.
Once we have received your goods, we will email you to confirm receipt, inspect the products and packaging and confirm if the return has been approved. We will arrange for your product to be refunded if so. Your initial postage charge and any further costs in returning the item are non-refundable.

Where is my order?
Standard delivery should be received within 3-5 working days. Courier information will be provided to you once dispatched.
In some instances, we may package and dispatch your order across multiple boxes, which means there is a small chance you may receive these at different times.
If you have not received your order within the expected time period, please contact us.

We do not offer order collections at this time.

How will my flowers be packaged?
All artificial flowers are packaged for minimal disruption during transit. If you have purchased an artificial flower bouquet, this will be tied and wrapped in brown paper. As part of our commitment to eco practices, we may reuse packaging.

Why won’t my trade login work?
Floralsilk trade and consumer accounts are separated. If you wish to make a personal purchase, you will need to check out as a guest or create a consumer account.
