Say Hello to Spring with Tulips and Daffodils

Published: 21/02/2025

Nothing signifies the arrival of spring more than tulips and daffodils. Their sunny, bright colours lift our spirits, not only with their beauty, but with their assurance that the cold, dark nights of Winter are coming to an end.

Why tulips?

One of the most popular and recognised flowers in the world, tulips are a springtime staple. They represent both love and rebirth, making them the perfect flower to gift in this blooming, wonderful season! With the array of beautiful colours they come in, tulips are perfect for brightening a room and adding a pop of colour. Whether you opt for classic Triumph Tulips or the statement look of a Parrot Tulips’ wavy-edged petals, nothing beats a bunch of bold and beautiful tulips.

Why daffodils?

As one of the first flowers to bloom at the end of winter, daffodils are a symbol of rebirth and new beginnings, they’re also the birth flower of March, so if you’re celebrating a March birthday, there is no better flower! Whether you opt for a classic Daffodil or a delicate cluster of small Narcissus in a bright yellow or more subtle cream, the iconic trumpet shape of this beautiful bloom will lift your spirits, whatever the British weather has in store!

Why not both?!

Ordinarily it’s not a good idea to combine tulips and daffodils as although beautiful, daffodils release slightly toxic sap that can cause other flowers to wilt, with faux you will never have this problem. Once cut, both beauties tend to last around a week but again, you will never have this problem with faux! So, although real tulips and daffodils do return year after year, why not display them all year round with a little help from faux?

Brighten your home and say hello to Spring with a stunning display of coloured stems, a subtle little pot here and there, or a statement arrangement that takes centre stage.
